There are two problem types available for GiD - GeMA integration. The first, called by GiD-GeMA, was developed in the deprecated problem type system. The second, named by GiD2GeMA, was developed in the new problem type system, which allows more flexibility and control of model data. Naturally, GiD-GeMA has more functionalities due to its longer development time. However, GiD2GeMA presents more facilities for 2D and 3D modeling of mechanical problems.
